Reduce,reuse, recycle!

For a scholarship I am supposed to post about how I reduce, reuse, and recycle. It made me think for the longest time then a few things came to mind. In my house we have a recycling bin that we put paper in and sometimes unlike the school we take it to the special disposal unit. We usually take two bags very two weeks which, if you do the math, is about one a week. We also always share clothes. Sometimes if I don't like a shirt I'll ask my mom or sisters if they want it. Most of the time though we give our clothes away to good will which gives us total assurance that the clothes are going to be worn again. I also do something that did not seem so huge to me, but then after I thought about it I realized it helps something. The last thing I do is reuse my water bottles. When I am not using a re-usable cup I keep filling up my plastic water bottle for about a week. I know there are many other ways I reduce, reuse, and recycle, but these are just the few that came to mind.

letter to the editor one

The article about the national unemployment (National unemployment rate falls to 8.5 percent) gives many people hope and a view on how our economy is growing. Many people believe because of all the negative effect our previous president has had our economy will never be the same. Now don’t get me wrong we still have a long way to go to restore our economy but lowering the unemployment rate is one of the many steps we need to take to restore it. In the country from November to December alone 200,000 jobs have been added. Also knowing that more people are working and helping the economy grow gives many people who still do not have jobs hope for the future.
